This is a one day beginner level bag making class with instructor Tina McDonald. This class is $50 and you must pre-pay and pre-register by February 25, 2025 to attend. You can register in store, over the phone or on our website by visiting the following link:

We are very excited to offer this class, with instructor Tina McDonald!
Materials are not included with this class.
You will be required to bring the following materials to class:

• 2/3 yard exterior fabric (quilting cotton)
• 3/4 yard lining fabric (quilting cotton)
• 1 yard sew-in or fusible foam (Pellon 76 flex foam)
• 3 yards fusible woven interfacing (Pellon SF101)
• 8 3/4” x 5” fusible stabilizer (Pellon 71F Peltex)
• Coordinating thread (coordinates with exterior fabric)
• Sewing machine and usual accessories
• Pins or Wonder Clips (Clips work best)
• Temporary Fabric Marker (like an iron away or an air erase pen)
• Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
All of these supplies are available for purchase at the Lulu and Hazel Quilt Shop!
You must also download and print the Ethel Tote Bag pattern before class.

**IMPORTANT**
Read through the entire pattern before doing ANYTHING
The following homework will also be required to be completed before class:

1. Print pattern and cut out paper pattern (last 6 pages). If you have issues, a copy of the pattern will be available before class begins.
2. Iron the woven interfacing (SF101) onto the wrong side of your exterior fabric and wrong side of your lining fabric. This will save SO much time.
Class instruction starts at 10 AM. Doors for class open at 9:30 AM.
