Hosted in one of Houston’s premier luxury restaurants, The American Legacy Gala is far more than a fashion show. It is an immersive celebration of fashion history, culture, elegance, and world-class entertainment—bringing together museum masterpieces, contemporary designers, distinguished guests, luxury brands, media, and business leaders under one roof.
About Retro Luxe Museum
Retro Luxe Museum is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit museum dedicated to preserving and showcasing authentic historic fashion while making fashion history accessible to new generations through museum exhibitions, educational programs, and international cultural events.
Recognized in the USA Book of Records, the museum preserves more than 500 authentic museum-quality garments dating from the 1930s through the 1990s, representing some of the most celebrated names in fashion history.
In just a short period of time, Retro Luxe Museum has produced internationally recognized fashion events, including an international fashion show featuring participants from 17 countries, bringing together designers, models, artists, photographers, media professionals, and creative talent from around the world.
The museum has proudly collaborated with internationally recognized luxury brands, including Dolce & Gabbana Beauty, while representatives of Dior and Louis Vuitton have served as official partners and distinguished jury members at previous museum events.
Today, Retro Luxe Museum continues to build a reputation for producing museum-quality fashion experiences that unite luxury, education, history, art, and culture while preserving an irreplaceable part of international fashion heritage.
The Evening Experience
Guests will experience an extraordinary museum runway presentation featuring authentic couture creations by legendary designers whose work was worn by queens, princesses, First Ladies, Hollywood legends, celebrities, and internationally recognized style icons.
The exhibition includes exceptional works by Victor Costa, Hardy Amies, Norman Hartnell, Murray Arbeid, Valentino Garavani, and other world-renowned designers whose creations shaped the history of fashion.
