Big Cypress National Preserve, in cooperation with the Collier County School District, conducts the Swamp, Water and Me Program (SWAMP). This curriculum-based program provides an opportunity for sixth grade students within the county to learn about and explore the Big Cypress Swamp as scientists for a day!! Swamp Celebration, a fundraiser through The Alliance for Florida's National Parks, is a way for the public to support this program and learn what the swamp is all about!
