New Zealand touring stalwarts The After embark on their third successive Asia Pacific tour in September 2025, armed with their latest single - an upbeat rock cover of the Kylie Minogue banger “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” global release soon through Universal Music Group.
The After blend pop hooks, gritty guitars, and soaring melodies into emotionally charged Hammond-fueled soundscapes, hammered home by a thunderous rhythm section.
The After are a well-oiled live band with a fast-growing international reputation. Ruby Fraser, is at the helm, with powerhouse vocals, searing guitar work and trumpet flourishes, channeling raw emotion and rebellious spirit. Bruce Madden, a true Hammond organ virtuoso, elevates all, with lush, soul-soaked sound textures. Andrew Featherstone lays the groundwork on bass and contributes the tasteful songwriting as well as managing the band. Gareth Scott delivers versatile, thunderous rhythms that never fails to impress.
The After recently completed a very successful New Zealand tour supporting Australian rock legends The SuperJesus. Their Asia Pacific Tour continues with dates in Japan and The Philippines, then Australia.
The After’s fifth single - “I Can’t Get you Out Of My Head” is set to make a significant impact, building on the momentum of the previous singles, all of which have been co-produced and mixed by Steve James (Sex Pistols/Screaming Jets).
The band's latest single “Mesmerised” gained extensive airplay on radio & TV in both NZ and the Philippines.
“Clear to Me” (feat. Split Enz legend Eddie Rayner) was the most-played rock track on NZ’s Juice TV in 2021, airing on over 500 stations worldwide.
“Doesn’t Matter” cracked the Radioscope Rock Radio Top 40 and became a JUICE TV rotation staple.
“Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way” has clocked over 500,000 views of its globe-trotting video shot in Tokyo, Manila, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Auckland.
“Uhaw” their emotive cover of Filipino band Dilaw’s hit also garnered over 500,000 views.
