This in-person event will honor the legacy of African American leaders who have paved the way for progress and change. This evening will also offer an opportunity to view the upcoming creation of the African American (AA) HOPE Plaza nearby via augmented reality that will animate the designs that have been carefully planned with identity and pride in mind.

The plaza will not only support the celebration of past achievements and the challenges overcome through unwavering perseverance but also look ahead with hope and determination toward a future brimming with endless possibilities and boundless potential for NE OKC’s Black community.
