This evening event invites audiences to not only hear great holiday classics like Carol of the Bells and selections from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, but sing secular winter holiday favorites together, such as Winter Wonderland, Let It Snow, Sleigh Ride, and Auld lang Syne, all accompanied by the grandeur of the Aeolian organ. The event offers a warm, family-friendly way to experience the beauty and versatility of the organ in a joyful, inclusive setting, led by Dr. Holman and a vocalist. Program subject to change at the discretion of the artist. About the Artist Christopher Holman is an internationally recognized organist, conductor, and chamber musician whose performance career spans more than a dozen countries. He has appeared in renowned cathedrals, concert halls, and major festivals worldwide. A noted scholar of early recording technology and historical instruments such as the Aeolian organ at Greenacres, he holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Music from the University of Oxford. He currently serves as Director of Music and Assistant Professor at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and School of Theology (the Athenaeum) in Cincinnati.
