The ADK UP·Lift for Entrepreneur: An Idea·Sharing Networking Event

Looking for an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, seek support for your projects or business, and gain inspiration? You don’t need to go it alone!

Our monthly think-tank offers a perfect opportunity to connect, network and exchange ideas, support and encouragement. Attending The UPLift is the best way to get unstuck and be inspired to take action by seeking input from others, especially those outside of your business and/or industry.

The purpose is to gain access to different ways of thinking as well as input on potential blind spots that may be restricting one’s ability to overcome their challenge. You are sure to walk away with one or two big “AHA” moments and the support of others to make it happen.

The group dynamic is key to collaborative brainstorming as well as creative thinking because:

• You aren’t the only one with that problem

• Someone else may have overcome a similar problem

• Group mentoring provides expansive thinking

• Sharing your experiences and knowledge can change someone’s business

• It strengthens connections and bonds for the future

All first time guests are entered into our prize drawing. Returning members who have followed through on their "inspired action" commitment are also entered into the drawing. This is our fun way of staying focused and accountable!

• Everyone will have an opportunity to introduce themselves with their name and business/organization. Returning participants may check-in regarding their previous month's commitment. Newcomers are invited to share what brought them out to this event.
• Each person receives 60 seconds to check-in and orient your small group to your current project or challenge. This includes an opportunity for clarifying questions from other attendees.
• Each person receives a 2.5 minute brainstorming "spotlight" to explore possible solutions to the goal or challenge you bring to the table. Take what speaks to you and leave the rest
• You will have 60 seconds at the end of the spotlights to identify an "inspired action" to set as a 30-day commitment. Each person will have an opportunity to share their commitment with others at their table.

• Select 1 business goal, challenge or issue that you would like brainstorming help with.

• Present your topic as an answer to the question: "What do you want?" You will be given a short amount of time during the event to reflect on what you would like to ask for. Avoid unnecessary details and back story.

• P articipants will share positive, encouraging "what if..." possibilities with you to help you move forward with your goal or project.

If you signup and cannot make it, please let us know so someone else can attend if we hit capacity.

This is a monthly event so come as often as you are available. There is no requirement to join on a regular basis, although we do have a membership program that gives you ongoing access to other members for brainstorming, resource-sharing and problem-solving. The attendees at the mastermind vary from month to month, although we encourage you to make this an ongoing priority for yourself and your business!
