Cet atelier, co-organisé par l’Annuaire canadien de droit international, la Section de common law de l’Université d’Ottawa et le Groupe de droit international de l’Université d’Ottawa, offre une plateforme permettant aux doctorant·e·s et aux chercheur·e·s en début de carrière de présenter et discuter des travaux novateurs à l’intersection des changements climatiques, des droits humains et de la responsabilité internationale.

L’événement comprendra des présentations et des commentaires de la part de chercheur·e·s et de praticien·ne·s de premier plan, favorisant un dialogue sur les implications juridiques de la judiciarisation des changements climatiques devant les cours et tribunaux internationaux.

Join us for The Adjudication of Climate Change: Young Scholars Workshop, an engaging afternoon bringing together emerging voices in international law to explore how climate change is shaping, and being shaped by, global adjudication and legal frameworks.This workshop, co-hosted by the Canadian Yearbook of International Law, the uOttawa Common Law Section, and the uOttawa International Law Group, provides a platform for doctoral candidates and early-career researchers to present and discuss cutting-edge work on the intersections between climate change, human rights, and international legal accountability.The event will feature presentations and commentaries from scholars and practitioners across leading institutions, fostering dialogue on the legal implications of climate-related adjudication before international courts and tribunals.
