The Actors Workshop is a space for actors to develop and gain professional feedback. These supportive workshops can be attended regularly as a six week block or on an ad hoc basis.A chance for actors to fine tune their skills, explore new methods and techniques, work on new material whilst gaining valuable input from an industry professional. Each workshop includes an element of vocal training, acting exercises and improvisation to build confidence and spontaneity.
These sessions help those who are going for castings and would like to develop their audition skills. Students work on camera to prepare the actor for self-tapes and in-person auditions. Actors will learn how to break down sides, integrate their own essence into every character, make adjustments, and acquire skills on how to create a successful self-tape.
Each week actors are assigned new roles and emailed audition sides to workshop in class. Actors are then required to use side analysis techniques and prepare their audition for that week’s class. Therefor a level of dedication to outside workshop preparation is a requirement.
All levels are welcome. Ideal for actors to keep their acting and auditioning skills sharp and challenge themselves artistically. Also perfect for those who also wish to build confidence in public speaking and self-development for the stage, film or everyday life!
