An insight into this artist’s extraordinary techniques & inspirations.
As part of the upcoming Art Fair, we are delighted that Niki McQueen will present an insight into what makes her tick.
Her talk will be at midday on Saturday the 1st of February in our Gallery.
All are welcome and there is no entrance fee.
Niki is possibly best known for her quirky subject material and the unique techniques she uses in her artworks.
She creates pieces using fascinating techniques encompassing hand-drawn images, digital composites, various inks, watercolours and other mixed media. These are beautifully appointed onto archival paper. And this is exactly what Niki will be chatting about.
There is something instantly captivating in her works - a delicious mix of something magical, something old world, something surreal, something familiar yet strangely foreign and something delightfully technical yet macabre.
