The ABC's of Horsemanship is a comprehensive approach to horsemanship with a natural approach for the evolving horseman.This is not your 'western pleasure' type of horsemanship.
This horsemanship clinic is about understanding the psychology & physiology of the horse. When we understand how and why a horse thinks, acts, and moves the way that it does, we are able to greatly increase our communication and leadership skills in a way that is easy and natural for them to understand. Allowing us to increase our confidence and safety as well.
I call this clinic the 'ABC's of Horsemanship' because everything covered in this clinic makes up a large portion of having a solid foundation for any horse and rider.

Time: 10am -4pm
Rider Cost: $200 (with a $100 non-refundable deposit)
Auditors: $10
During the first hour of so, Miranda will cover the Psychology of the Horse and Rider's Mindset.
After discussion time, we will then work on groudwork. During groundwork we'll cover several exercises that are used to gain control of the 5 main body parts.
Once all the participants confidently understand the groudwork, then we will move on up to how this transitions under saddle.
(I.E. How disengauging the hindquarters on the ground allows us to gain the eyes, ears, and attention of the horse, and then an easier transition into a one-rein stop when riding.)
This clinic is great for experienced beginners on up to the experienced horseman looking for a deeper understanding and relationship with their horse.
Most of the riding exercises will be performed at a walk and trot.
