70th Annual Candy Cane Parade w/ The Hollywood Lions Club & South Florida Bike Scene
*When:* Saturday, *December 6th, 2026 at 7:00 PM*
*Where:* Hollywood Beach Broadwalk - starts at Missouri St and goes south to Harrison St. Emcee is at the Hollywood Beach Theatre on Johnson St.
This year is extra special - it's Hollywood's *Centennial* so the theme is *"Journey Through the Decades"* - 100 years of style/music/holiday spirit. For the first time ever they're broadcasting it *LIVE on Local 10* and there's a live concert by the band "Making Faces" at the bandshell after the parade.
*What it is:* One of the longest running holiday parades in the country (started in the 1950s by local merchants). Dozens of lighted floats, marching bands, civic groups, non-profits, kids groups. 40k people usually line the Broadwalk.
*Tips:*
- Bring a lawn chair or grab a table at one of the seaside restaurants
- *Bring a new unwrapped toy* - they do a Lions Club toy drive at the bandshell before the parade
- *Parking:* It's a madhouse. Park downtown at Garfield Garage or Nevada Street Garage and take the FREE shuttle from 5pm - last shuttle leaves beach at 10pm. Don't hand out candy from floats (they ask you to hand it)
