Lift every voice and sing!Kick off your Juneteenth celebration at the 6th Annual Juneteenth Freedom Market a free, all-ages celebration of Black creativity and entrepreneurship. Rooted in the legacy of June 19, 1865, when the last enslaved Black Americans in the Confederacy learned of their freedom, Juneteenth honors a history that continues to shape our present. More than 150 years later, the influence of Black culture, creativity, and innovation remains powerful, evolving, and ever-present in our community and around the world. Join us at the Salt Shed on the evening of June 16th to enjoy: A marketplace of 50+ local Black-owned businesses and creators, selling everything from homegoods, beauty products, one-of-a-kind fashions and more.Curated sounds, including DJ sets from Slot A and DJ Ca$h EraPerformances by the iconic 40+ Double Dutch Club, and the Black Onyx All StarsOne-of-a-kind flash tattoos by Cierra, Jhane InxSpecial pop-up surprises Were proud to offer free RSVP to the community.
