Chemical Valley Roller Derby is once again hosting the Thanksgiving themed scrimmage with all the fixin’s! The 5th Annual Sk8sgiving Scrimmage is Saturday, November 21st at the Skateland of Huntington, and this year it’s bigger than ever! 🦃🛼
We’re excited to announce that this year Sk8sgiving includes 2 WFTDA scrimmages, followed by an open gender scrimmage so everyone can join in on the Sk8sgiving action!
Plus, we’ve got all your favorite Sk8sgiving
traditions: the marshmallow toss for a Holl’s chocolate turkey, bake sale, canned food drive, and all the CVRD merch your heart desires available for purchase!
Tickets are $10 at the door ($5 with a donation of a non-perishable food item), $5 for kids and students (with valid college ID) 🎟️
Registration for skaters is $40 and includes your event tshirt! As always, we’re looking for refs and NSOs, with a $50 travel stipend for traveling refs!
Registration closes October 9th.
Skaters and volunteers can sign up here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd_R1e2H1-4j_R6fMtDkZ_txOu1-VSSav9VVaCiTdlIJ0fN8w/viewform
