About this Event
Brooklyn Law School’s Brooklyn Entertainment and Sports Law Society (BESLS) and Intellectual Property Law Association (IPLA) are proud to present our fourth annual Entertainment Law Symposium, exploring one of the most urgent questions shaping entertainment today: what happens when privacy becomes content?
This year’s symposium, “You Can Run, But You Can’t Hide: Privacy and Exposure in the Age of Entertainment,” will examine how modern entertainment—from reality television to social media platforms—turns private identity into a public, monetized product. As audiences demand access and creators build careers through visibility, the legal boundaries of consent, control, publicity, and personal autonomy are being tested like never before.
Join leading attorneys, creators, and media professionals for an engaging conversation on the evolving intersections of privacy law, publicity rights, platform influence, and the business of exposure.
