The 4-1-1 on John 3:16

Christian Tabernacle Church of Roselle, Il, celebrates its 44th anniversary, Sunday, March 16, hosting a special performance of “The 4-1-1 on John 3:16” by Kingdom Impact Theater Ministries at 11:30 AM.

CTC has hosted several KIT productions, many focusing on Christianity and African-American history written and performed by Michael Edgar Myers and Vikki J. Myers. “The 4-1-1 on John 3:16” reveals the ensemble through a different lens: a faith-based variety show with music, comedy, satire and dramatized Scripture. The 30-minute performance will immediately follow the weekly Service of Worship which begins at 10 AM.

In addition to saluting CTC on its anniversary, scenes in the show reflect on nuances of Christian worship (language), homelessness, marital relationships, the return of Messiah Christ, and, notably, unwrapping the meaning of the key scripture, John 3:16.

The March 16 program is a reunion that allows two community-minded organizations to share hallmark celebrations. In addition to the anniversary of when Christian Tabernacle Church was established, Rev. Robbie Robinson is in his 10th year as senior pastor.

Meanwhile, Kingdom Impact Theater celebrates its 30th season of presenting performing arts to connect churches, schools and community organizations to empower Safe-Faith Conversations.

Christian Tabernacle Church is located at 100 S. Park Street, (across from the Roselle Public Library), its home since 1989.
