The Eudora Parks and Recreation Foundation is proud to present the 2026 Great Duck Race in Eudora, KS. August 14th 2026, before the Last Dive-in Movie of the summer. Official Date TBD due to scheduling. Each adoption benefits the Kurt Von Achen Scholarship Fund which provides the public access to Parks and Recreation programs and facilities through scholarships to citizens who qualify.
Duck Adoption Details
A single duck (1 Duck) - $5
The Quack Pack (6 Ducks) - $25
Flock of Ducks (13 Ducks) - $50
A Derby of Ducks (27 Ducks) - $100
Prizes
1st Place $1000
2nd Place $250
3rd Place $100
The Lucky Duck (Last Place) - $200 credit at the Eudora Parks and Recreation Department
Adopt your duck at Main Street Market this summer or at the Parks and Recreation Department at the front Desk. Additional adoption sites pending!
