Join us at a 3-1-3 fundraiser supporting ACE HONORS while celebrating Rochelle Riley, her birthday, 25 years of impact and a new adventure!
About this Event

For five years, Detroit icon Rochelle Riley hosted a
luncheon fundraiser in support of adult literacy, raising more than $200,000 towards an issue she wrote about for 15 years, telling Detroit Free Press readers for the first time the stories of adults learning to read for the first time. On Friday, the 13th (3-1-3), her friends are raising money again. This time, it is to support and sustain the ACE HONORS initiative, which awards medals to artists who have given
25 years of service to the city’s fine and performing arts. Please join hosts Carmen Harlan and Huel Perkins and a few hundred of Rochelle friends and fans to celebrate Rochelle’s January birthday, her contributions to the city she has called home for 25 years and her new adventure!
