ABOUT THIS SHOW

Seattle based Eric Howk (of Portugal, The Man) is joining Freaque in support of Unite 2 Fight Paralysis' 2nd Annual Rock for Spinal Cord Injury Research event. Eric is coming off the release of his solo album SKYKING last fall to rip through a set of favorites. Minneapolis based Freaque will be performing their funky carnival 10 piece to rattle the pillars of power. Both artists live with a spinal cord injury and have joined this effort because of their personal stake in this work.

Zoë Says Go - friends and family of Freaque - after a run at The Minnesota Fringe Festival bring their blend of rock/folk/soul to make noise and raise funds for spinal cord injury recovery.

Unite 2 Fight Paralysis is a Minneapolis based non-profit fighting to expand federal support for spinal cord injury research in response to cuts by the current Administration.

Freaque explores the underbelly of corporeal experience. Songs and stories about decay, decomposition and death being juxtaposed with eroticism, relationship and life. Through a dark, dank, and dirty artistic voice, Freaque tells stories of life blooming in the shadows and those lives taking shape in a myriad of bodies.
