The Credit Union Investment Strategy Group is pleased to be hosting its 2nd Annual CU Economic & Investment Summit! The Oppenheimer CU Group brings nearly 40 years of experience in Credit Union Portfolio Management; developing tailored strategies to protect and/or optimize investment income for Credit Unions nationwide.

Hear from Kevin Lynch, Managing Director - Investments at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., who will provide valuable perspective on the current market conditions and how your investment strategies can evolve to best prepare the portfolio for times ahead.

Join this discussion of the current economic and interest rate environment. Kevin will introduce the concept of Interest-Rate Perspective and how it can be utilized to identify potential periods of transition in the Interest Rate Cycle. Moreover, he will discuss what decisions Credit Unions make (or lack thereof) that result in an underperforming Balance Sheet. He will take a detailed look at the pros and cons of what is believed to be the most appropriate investment strategies and how they could perform in these changing economic conditions.

Wednesday, May 21st

• We will be kicking things off on May 21st at 10:00 AM with a shotgun start for a round of golf at PohlCat golf course in a scramble format that is open to all attendees and is only a 5 minute drive from Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort.
• Following the golf outing will be a Welcome Reception / Cocktail Hour at Soaring Eagle starting at 5:00 PM and ending (formally at least...) at 7:00 PM.

Thursday, May 22nd

• The agenda for Thursday, May 22nd will be a full day of educational sessions by our speakers with breakfast and lunch provided to all attendees.
• Upon conclusion of Thursday's sessions there will be a short break followed by an attendee appreciation event that evening on-site, which is open to all attendees and any guests traveling with them.

Friday, May 22nd

• Friday morning will begin with breakfast being provided to all attendees and subsequently the final educational sessions and closing remarks of our 2025 Summit. The program will end and attendees will be dismissed by 12:00 PM on Friday.

Attendees will be provided with valuable insight into the impact of changing interest rates on investment decisions, earnings, risk position and liquidity. Attendees will leave armed with the knowledge and strategies to make a meaningful impact to their bottom line.
