About ElectHBCU:

Our mission is to bolster the legacy and future of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) by championing the election of their graduates to public office, educating current students on the transformative power of civic engagement, and mobilizing resources to confront and resolve challenges uniquely impacting HBCU communities. Through advocacy, education, and fundraising, we aim to cultivate a generation of politically active leaders who carry the values of HBCUs into every level of government, ensuring that the voices, needs, and brilliance of these institutions are not only heard, but prioritized.

Contributions to ElectHBCU are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.

Contributions from corporations, labor organizations, national banks, and foreign nationals are prohibited. Individual contributions may not exceed $5,000 per calendar year. Federal law requires us to use best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.
