🐝 About the Show
Six wonderfully awkward middle schoolers enter the Putnam County Spelling Bee with dreams of victory — and more than a little baggage. As they compete word-by-word for the championship trophy, they reveal insecurities, family pressures, and personal triumphs that are both laugh-out-loud funny and surprisingly moving.
Packed with witty humor, clever music, and unforgettable characters, Spelling Bee celebrates individuality, resilience, and the joy of embracing who you are — awkward moments and all.
Though the characters are middle school students, all roles are portrayed by adult performers.
