The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Get ready for a riotous night of comedy in Sioux City! 🐝 Six quirky, awkward, wonderfully lovable middle schoolers are competing for the spelling championship of a lifetime. Between rounds, they share hilarious and surprisingly touching stories from home, all while spelling their way through a list of (possibly made-up) words and dreading the dreaded “ding” of the bell that signals a mistake.
Six spellers enter. Only one leaves the champion. (The rest still get a juice box.) 🧃
Audience participation included, so come ready to play along at this Morningside University production!
Please note: Not recommended for children under 13. Contains some language and adult references.
📍 Klinger-Neal Theatre, Morningside University campus, 3700 Peters Ave, Sioux City, IA 51106
