The 24th MECA Germany Annual Convention

The 24th MECA Germany Annual Convention will take place in Leipzig from Friday, July 31 to Saturday, August 1, 2026, bringing together members of the Manyu community in Germany and guests to celebrate culture, unity, and development. The event, organized by MECA Germany e.V., focuses on the theme “Celebrating Manyu Roots, Inspiring Future Generations” and includes a full program of cultural activities such as traditional dances, a children’s marathon, football tournaments, food (gastronomy), and souvenir sales during the day, followed by a lively gala night with music genres like Afrobeats, Dancehall, Salsa, and live performances from a guest artist; overall, the convention is both a cultural festival and a community gathering aimed at preserving heritage and supporting development projects in Manyu, Cameroon.
