Run or walk one of the most beautiful beaches on Florida’s east coast–on the sacred ground where the forerunners to today’s Navy SEALs trained for the beaches of Normandy. The 3.1-mile out-and-back beach course will start and finish on Navy SEAL Museum property on the north lawn at the Mark V Special Operations Craft. Come test your mettle on our beach course before finishing at this historic artifact.The Museum tells the story of Naval Special Warfare from the very beaches where it was born. The deeds and actions of the predecessors of today’s Navy SEALs established the benchmarks against which military Special Operations are measured today. From the coastline of Fort Pierce where the Navy SEAL Museum stands today, Naval Special Warfare produced tightly knit groups of men who trained for war and took their skillset and determination around the world with one goal in mind: “Win at any cost.” They cleared the way for others to follow, doing so for the love of their teammates and their country. Today’s SEALs continue keeping constant vigil around the globe to secure our freedom.
