The 2026 Long Island Complete Streets Summit

Join us at this year’s Long Island Complete Streets Summit on March 27th where we will visit and learn from built examples of downtown traffic calming and streetscaping.

We are thankful that Newsday has been doing a deep dive over the past few months in to the many reasons for the high number of crashes on our roads and possible solutions that we will learn about.

We will do a walking tour of the Village of Lindenhurst and the numerous improvements to

streets in the downtown area that we will get to see first hand and “kick the tires” to see how well it has worked.

We will also get updates on the LI Greenway Trail and other pedestrian and bike improvement projects
