Join us and former Detroit Tiger and Hamtramck native Ike Blessitt once again for another 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐜𝐤 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐜, 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭. 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at Historic Hamtramck Stadium!
Come enjoy an afternoon of baseball and fun with a matinee match featuring two teams composed of Ike's Detroit Tigers Fantasy Camp alumni and players from the Detroit Men's Senior Baseball League as they battle it out on the ballfield at Norman "Turkey" Stearnes Field.
Come for the baseball and stay to enjoy the newly restored 1930 Hamtramck Stadium grandstand, historic home of the Negro League Detroit Stars and the field where Ike was first discovered by major-league scouts in the 1960s.
Players of all skill levels are welcome to participate. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝟏𝟎:𝟑𝟎 𝐚.𝐦.
𝐀 $𝟏𝟎 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝, which provides you with hot dogs, drinks, and other snacks. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ike Blessitt Athletic Academy and help Ike make some much-needed improvements to his backyard batting cage.
Special guests expected to attend include 1984 World Series champ and former Detroit Tigers pitcher Juan Berenguer!
