The 2026 Black River Catfishing Tournament - WEEK 2

Welcome to The Black River Catfishing Tournament! Whether you are bank fishing, paddling a kayak, or running a boat, this is your chance to compete for the title of Black River Catfishing Champion.
Tournament Details
Dates: July 1 – July 31, 2026.
Timeframe: Starts July 1st at 12:00 AM and ends July 31st at 11:59 PM.
Location: The Black River, Michigan (from the mouth at the St. Clair River up to the Mill Creek junction).
Entry Fee: $12.
Participation: No age limits; open to all shore, kayak, and boat anglers. You may join at any time during the month of July.
Payout Structure (100% Payout)
We are committed to putting every entry fee back into the pockets of the anglers:
1st Place (Top 3 Combined Length): 50%
2nd Place (Top 3 Combined Length): 25%
Monster of the Month (Single Largest Catfish): 25%
Weekly Standings & Updates
We will be keeping the leaderboard competitive all month long! Tune in to our official "Holmes Outdoors" Facebook page for four weekly event updates where we will post current standings and highlight the leaders.
CASH will be given to the top positions of each leaderboard with the cash amounts and number of winning entries to be determined.
All fish entered in the tournament will be photographed, measured, and recorded through the FishDonkey app
