The Morehouse Golf Classic stands as a beacon of our commitment to nurturing future leaders who embody the values of integrity, compassion, and courage in fostering an inclusive, global civil society. Through this esteemed event, we endeavor to raise vital scholarship funds for deserving young men, particularly in the face of financial challenges impacting Historically Black Colleges and Universities like Morehouse College.
Our mission is clear: to ensure that no deserving student is denied access to education due to financial constraints. The Morehouse Golf Classic serves as a cornerstone in our fundraising efforts, directly benefiting the academic pursuits of promising individuals at Morehouse College. Since its inception, this event has been instrumental in transforming the lives of numerous students, empowering them to become distinguished Morehouse Men.
Proceeds from the Morehouse Golf Classic ATL will benefit the Morehouse Golf Team and students demonstrating a financial need. This event is sponsored by the Morehouse College National Alumni Association, a 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization registered in the state of Georgia.
In 2024, we aim to raise $50,000, furthering our commitment to educational excellence while supporting our new Morehouse Golf Coach, Edgar Evans, Jr., and his efforts to rebuild the Morehouse Golf Team.
Each registration includes:
A Round of Championship Tournament Golf at Eagles Landing Country Club
Participation in the 50/50 Raffle, with proceeds supporting the Morehouse College Golf Team
Engaging On-Course Contests, including a Putting, Longest Drive (Men/Women), and Closest to the Pin (Men/Women)
A Swag Bag
