December marks completion. The final passage before a new cycle begins.
At the twelfth hour, the veil between worlds grows thin. Old realities dissolve, while the new has not yet fully arrived.
Between ending and becoming, a liminal space emerges in a moment of transformation, illusion and revelation.
Shapes&Shades invites you into a cosmic sphere where the runway turns into a glade of enchantment. Inspired by duality, cosmic shifts and dreamlike states, we move through the space between death and rebirth, shadow and light, reality and fantasy.
Gather with us at the twelfth hour. A potent moment for magic, manifestation and creation, suspended in time, where bodies transform beneath the light of the eclipse and illusion becomes vision and truth.

This is not your regular event!
All Shapes & Shades events are taking place within a Safe(r) Space concept. The events are primarily addressing people, who identify as LGBTQIA+, B*POC or POC. Ballroom is an inclusive space and all bodies are welcome to join and celebrate, but we expect sensitivity, awareness, and allyship for the community, in and outside of Ballroom.
Ballroom takes a firm stance against all forms of racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, misogyny, or any other form of discrimination. We, the Shapes & Shades collective, will serve as an awareness team at the events, to make sure that the house rules are respected.
