*SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2025: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.

The Fez-tival is so named after the Shriners’ Fez, the official headgear of the Shriners. The red fez with its distinctive black tassel was chosen by the fraternity to complement the pomp and pageantry for which the Shriners are known.
The Rhode Island Shriners are a fraternal organization, with the charitable goal of operating 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children, specializing in burn, orthopedic, and spinal injury care. All care provided at Shriners Hospitals for Children is totally without cost to the patient and family. While the proceeds from this event are not tax-deductible, the net proceeds will help to defray the operating costs of the Shrine, where their charitable offices are based.
The Fez-tival of Trees is a fun, family-friendly event that features an impressive display of fully decorated trees, wreaths, and menorahs (raffled off at the conclusion of the event), quality table raffles, penny socials, “sounds of the Season”, visits with Santa, delicious concessions (provided by Ralph’s Catering), and a variety of amazing free activities for children. In addition, a large variety of vendors, crafters, and artisans will be featured in our “Holiday Marketplace”, offering a large assortment of beautiful and unusual items for sale. The Holiday Marketplace is a great place to “shop local” and get all of your holiday shopping done!

The venue is a well-known Rhode Island landmark that has recently been restored to its former glory. Rhodes on the Pawtuxet is our sister organization, and offers handicapped accessible facilities, plentiful free off-street parking, and is fully climate controlled. The beautiful building offers the perfect holiday backdrop for the Fez-tival of Trees.
