About this Event
Join us for a special attractive program of a Czech accomplished duo, mother and son, stopping in San Diego on their North American tour. Zuzana and Miroslav Ambrož are both classically trained at the prestigious Prague Conservatoire and Prague Academy of Music.
Zuzana won many competitions and played with renowned orchestras, including Vienna Philharmonics, currently teaching at the Prague Conservatoire, shining on the piano next to her son, outstanding violinist, and becoming the most sought after accompanist for woodwinds and brass.
Miroslav played as a guest in many European halls, and is a recipient of top prizes from competitions in Europe and USA. The latest success counts a Gold medal from a Viennese competition for professional soloists that he won in 2024 and in 2025.
For the last eight years Miroslav has been heading a successful chamber orchestra consisting of Conservatoire graduates, enchanting audiences with compositions from Baroque to Romanticism.
All the way from Europe, The Czech Duo came to celebrate music with us in an excellent electrifying program! From Gluck, Mozart, Dvořák to Elgar, Tartini and Piazzolla, you will be dazzled!
Homemade delicious goodies and savories are complementing music, the cozy historical hall and a lively fun appreciative audience. Join us, without you the music will not shine!
