Dear friends,We’re setting our wheels toward Thassos once more — that quiet slice of paradise that keeps its magic tucked just out of sight. Last year’s journeys there still glow in our memories, so back we go, chasing that same spell of wild beauty and wide-open silence.

Thassos has been our scouting ground for over 14 years, and its cycling routes feel like old friends: generous, surprising, and always ready to reveal another secret bend. Here, the island’s story unfolds in every pedal stroke — a place where history, tradition, and nature lace together like a well-loved trail.
Apart from beautiful beaches, Thassos is an incredible green island with unique mountainous scenery, age old olive trees, bushes and pines. The traditional villages like Theologos and Kastro are connected with beautiful dirt roads and routes that pass through pine forests.
More than 70% of the island climbs the slopes of Mt. Ipsarion, a crown of pine, olive, and chestnut forests. Its peak, Ypsario, stands proud at 1204 meters. Many choose to hike or e-bike their way up, and those who reach the top are rewarded with a view that feels almost celestial — Skala Potamia and Skala Panagia glowing far below like scattered jewels.
This island beckons with its embrace of nature, captivating landscapes, vivid colors, and opportunities for both relaxation and adventure. Free from wild animals and adverse weather conditions, it offers a diverse array of outdoor activities for everyone to relish.
We will have as our basecamp a beautiful guesthouse location outside the small town of Potos, our own:)village, set in an olive tree garden with cosy luxurious bungalows.
