Out-of-town family in the house and everybody needs a break before dinner? Take them to the bayou. It's an easy paddle through downtown Houston with turtles, herons and a view of the city most people never see from the water.
Houston Kayak Tour (downtown Buffalo Bayou), 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Calm water, families welcome, wildlife common but never guaranteed.
