Hope Lutheran Church is sponsoring the Thanksgiving Food Drive to assist needy families in the local area.In order to minimize the number of trips made to the grocery store, we are asking that you consider:
Sponsoring an entire family, and purchase all of the items on the menu or provide monetary donations (in the form of gift cards or money). We would prefer that you do not donate
incomplete baskets, as this requires our volunteers to visit the grocery store multiple times to complete baskets.
Please plan on dropping off the baskets and monetary
donations (including gift cards) at Hope Lutheran Church
on a Sunday morning, or during the week Monday thru Friday 9:00-3:00. All completed Thanksgiving Baskets should be at the church by no later than noon on Wednesday, November 12th.
Monetary donations or gift cards that are dropped off after November 12th will be saved for next year’s drive.
If possible, Latino-based baskets are preferred, as the school demographics are about 75% Latino. This would make the baskets feel even more meaningful and connected to our
families.
