This year we honour Yossi Shemesh with our Kol Hakavod Award and the ‘Savtas and Bubbies’ of Toronto led by Heshy Altbaum, Judi Gottlieb, Estelle Richmond and Zippy Orland with the CMDA Guardian Award.
This year’s funds will be allocated to maintenance for the Canada Helicopter in the Magen David Adom Fleet. With 5 Helicopters serving a population of 10 million people, Magen David Adom’s Helicopters are an invaluable asset to saving lives. Like all other big machinery, wear and tear, constant flights and of course gasoline are all needed to keep the fleet flying. Your donations will make sure that this continues unabated.
