Restorative Yoga with Thai Yoga Massage is a great way to melt all anxieties, stress, and tension from the mind and body. Props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks support and restore the body, but the postures are passive, not active, like in a traditional yoga class, and are supported for 5-7 minutes. As a student is in a restorative posture, Kayla Beth will use her hands, arms, and feet to apply deep muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure to each individual. Thai massage also utilizes energy work, which, according to ancient Asian culture, treats the subtle energetic field within the body. At the end of this class, Kayla Beth will spend 2 minutes with each person individually to see what area of the body is in particular need.Class is limited to 8 people in order to provide time and attention to each individual
