The SIDE POSITION is one of the most traditional positions we can find in THAI MASSAGE. It is the ultimate position in which we can easily hold a two hour massage session.This course is mainly about the therapeutic applications in the lateral position – how to explore and master it.
There are many therapeutic applications with amazing results, especially for people suffering from severe lower back, neck and shoulder pain.
It is also a very nice position in which we can support and accompany elderly people.
In addition, we will spend a whole day on the topic of „pregnancy“ – a topic that is generally given far too little attention! The lateral position is excellent for the treatment of pregnant women and offers us the possibility to support and, above all, to relieve.
In this module we will also explore the energy lines and ZEN meridians of traditional Thai massage and learn how to create precision and stillness with the elbows, feet, hands and knees.
