About the Guests:
📚 Erin Austen Abbott
Writer and photographer Erin Austen Abbott has spent the last decade documenting the people, places, and stories that shape the South and beyond. Her work has appeared in publications including Southern Living, Garden & Gun, Condé Nast Traveler, Bon Appétit, Esquire, and The Bitter Southerner, among many others.
Erin is the author of How to Make It, Family Field Trip, and Small Town Living, with her fourth book, Waterfront Living, arriving in 2026. Through her writing and photography, she explores art, design, food, culture, and the natural world, capturing the spirit of communities both close to home and around the globe.
“I feature towns you wouldn’t immediately think of as water communities, near rivers, lakes, oceans, and on islands. I photographed homes and places as they are- not high gloss magazine images, but real, attainable places across four seasons. I hope you love it!” – Erin Austen Abbott

🎶 The Veal Brothers
For more than five decades, The Sensational Veal Brothers have shared their faith and musical traditions with audiences across the South and beyond. Rooted in family and inspired by the gospel sounds of their childhood, the group officially formed in 1975 and has remained a powerful force in sacred music ever since.
Known for their rich harmonies and heartfelt performances, The Veal Brothers have recorded numerous albums, earned national recognition, and traveled throughout the United States spreading a message of hope and joy. Today, the group continues its enduring ministry with a multigenerational lineup that honors its roots while carrying the tradition forward.
🎶 Greazy Alice
Born from a love of rough-edged rock and roll, smoky blues, and honky-tonk twang, Greazy Alice is the ever-evolving musical project of New Orleans songwriter Alex Pianovich. Inspired by a character from Terry Allen’s landmark album Juarez, the band has spent the last decade crafting music that balances barroom grit with heartfelt storytelling.
The current lineup, featuring Will Repholz, Lee Garcia, and singer-songwriter Jo Morris, came together in late 2024 and brought new life to the project. Their latest album, As Time Goes By, captures a season of reflection, loss, growth, and hope. Rich with melody and melancholy, the record offers an honest snapshot of where Greazy Alice is today while staying true to the band’s roots in timeless American music.
