We are closing out our TGIF concert season with an exciting night of live music. On Friday, July 31st, we are thrilled to welcome back to Morganton the talented Hobo Cane, the stage name of award winning global artist Javier Mendoza, and his full band to the Historic Courthouse stage!
Time: 7:00-10:00pm
With over 25 years of international touring and more than a dozen celebrated albums under his belt, Hobo Cane brings a global sound to the stage.
His music is a high-energy, soulful fusion that defies a single genre, blending: Bilingual Rock & Folk, Passionate Latin Rhythms, and Raw, Acoustic Storytelling.
Hobo Cane was voted a Spotlight Artist by Nashville’s premier indie station, Lightning 100, and recently shared the stage with The Mavericks for a stunning performance honoring the legendary Raul Malo.
He has also share the stage with Willie Nelson, Chuck Berry, Santana, Duran Duran, Ben Folds, The Roots, Blues Traveler, Everclear, Los Lobos, and Ziggy Marley
