Expect an action-packed hoops camp where you can showcase your skills, learn new tricks, and connect with fellow ballers. This in-person event promises high energy, friendly competition, and plenty of memorable moments on the court. About the event:
We look forward to you joining us for the 4th annual Teyan "The Real McCoy" Back to School Hoop session. This event was first held in June 2023 to celebrate the life of Teyan McCoy, who passed away in January 2023. Teyan was a home grown talent from Hammond, IN that had a deep passion for the game of basketball. Teyan's talent was contributed to teams with Edison middle school and Bishop Noll Institute, University of Maryland and University of Texas. The camp was developed to honor Teyan's additional passion of giving back to the community through sharing basketball training with the next generations of talent.
All activities during the camp are free of charge. However, this site provides an opportunity for donations (or on event day). All funds raised each year provide an opportunity for
scholarships to be awarded to deserving high school athletes based on their leadership, basketball talent and academics.
