***Drag Racing and Car Show open to ALL AIRCOOLED AND WATERCOOLED VWS, AUDIS, AND PORSCHES!!***
Gates open Friday and you can stay on site until Sunday.
Classes and rules:
Gangster 165- FRIDAY NIGHT ONLY
-Heads up
-.500 Pro tree
-Rear engine
-Aircooled
-Manually shifted
-165/80-15 or equivalent rear tire
-No slicks or drag radials
Pro Stock VW-
ECPRA rules will be applied.
Outlaw VW-
• Limited to Door Slammers (convertibles ok) & Manx-style Buggies; no open frame buggies, dragsters, altereds or funny cars
• All run field, and all elimination pairings will be Chip Draw
• Pro Tree; courtesy staging enforced
• Must be have VW Body (Fiberglass replica OK; Manx style buggy ok)
- Must be Rear-engined, air cooled flat four VW/Porsche style engine
- Must be manually shifted.
• ALL Entries must run engine containment blanket or drip pan
• All Entries must run transmission containment blanket, drip pan,
• All Entries must follow track safety regulations for speed and e.t. of vehicle
BANDIT-
-Open to N/A and Power Adder cars
-Heads-Up
-Pro Tree
-Power adder cars limited to 94 bore.
-N/A cars NOT limited on bore size.
-N/A and Nitrous cars will be allowed to run up to an 8.5” tire.
-Turbo cars limited to 6” rear tire.
-$200 deposit required for any protest on bore size.
Pro VW Bracket-
-No delay box (Can be in car, but must be .000)
-Clutch release OK
-Appropriate safety equipment required
-2 step OK
-E.T. Cutoff of 8.99
-2 time trials
-Trans catch pan required for all Aircooled cars
-Engine catch pan required for all cars
-Dragsters OK
Street VW Bracket-
-No delay box (Can not be in the car)
-DOT Street Tires (No Slicks)
-Seat belt required
-No wheelie bars
-No clutch release
-Hydraulic clutch management OK
-2 step OK
-Buggies OK (Need arm restraint)
-No Dragsters
-No E.T. Cutoff
-2 time trials
-Trans catch pan required for all Aircooled cars.
-Engine catch pan required for all Aircooled cars. (Please reach out if you have questions)
-Car must be driven to the lanes and back to your pit. No tow vehicles.
Lady Bugs-
-Must be VW powered
-Required lady parts
-Required safety equipment
-Dial in bracket class
