Jon Camp Band (Washington DC)
Jon Camp is a fingerstyle guitarist and composer based out of the Washington, DC region. Jon blends twang, drone, and melody into a cohesive whole that is exploratory without forsaking the hook. His forthcoming release, "Proceed," out in October through Centripetal Force Records, is a full-band affair that is electric, expansive, and emotionally muscular, channeling a spirit of forward motion amidst the weight of memory and uncertainty. For Jon's Skylark set, he'll be in band mode, featuring Dave Jones (The Caribbean) on guitar, Julian Comanda (Visitors) on bass, and Scott Verrastro (Jeffrey Alexander & The Heavy Lidders) on drums.
