Texas Comedy Showcase comes to Texas Music Cafe for a one-of-a-kind, 90-minute live production blending stand-up comedy, soulful music and audience interaction.
This is not simply a comedy show with a musical opener. The comedy and live saxophone are intentionally woven together to keep the energy moving from the first note to the final laugh.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
* Eugene “The Talking Sax” Peebles opens the evening with an energetic saxophone performance.
* Chris Crawford welcomes the audience, hosts the production and delivers a comedy set.
* Jeanette Fahey takes the spotlight for a featured comedy set.
* Chris returns for a brief audience-engagement segment and transition.
* Eugene brings the room back into the groove with a soulful saxophone set.
* The entire cast reunites for an interactive finale, with Eugene’s “talking sax” responding to jokes and audience suggestions.

Eugene “The Talking Sax” Peebles
A classically trained and internationally traveled saxophonist whose dynamic performances blend jazz, R&B, pop and timeless favorites. Eugene brings the soul, showmanship and musical personality that make this production truly different.
Jeanette Fahey
Smart, bold and unapologetically funny. Jeanette combines sharp wit, fearless storytelling and relatable real-life observations with confident delivery and punchlines that land.
Chris Crawford
A retired 20-year U.S. Air Force veteran known for clever, animated storytelling inspired by military life, marriage, parenting, teaching and adventures from the comedy road.
