What is TeslaCorsa?

The world’s first and ONLY exclusive Tesla on track experience for owners. TeslaCorsa was founded to encourage Tesla owners to experience the limits of their cars in a professionally managed race track environment. By exploring the limits in a controlled environment we can ensure maximum fun, safety and absence of speeding tickets.

Track #13 CW at Buttonwillow: The Perfect Playground for Your Tesla

If you’ve never been on a racetrack before, Track #13 CW at Buttonwillow is the perfect place to start. It’s one of the most popular and approachable track layouts in California—favored by everyone from weekend warriors to professional racers. The layout is smooth, flowing, and offers a fun mix of challenges without being intimidating. Take it from us, we've been running this since TeslaCorsa1 and it's always a blast.

Track #13 CW has long straights that let your Tesla really run the 0-60 acceleration and corners that teach you how your car handles without needing crazy speeds. You’ll get to experience iconic turns like “Riverside” (a fast, sweeping right-hander) and “Phil Hill” (a gentle rise that feels exciting but safe). There’s also a great rhythm to the track that builds your confidence lap after lap.

And don’t worry—this isn’t a race. It’s about learning your car, having fun, and getting way more out of your Tesla than you thought possible, in a safe, controlled environment.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT TESLACORSA 🔋🏁:

Whether it's your first time on track or your 40th, TeslaCorsa is all about fun, learning, and pushing your Tesla in a safe, friendly environment.

Here's what you’re in for:

  1. Four adrenaline-fueled track sessions
You’ll get 4 x 15-minute driving sessions (unless you're in Advanced Time Attack, which may be slightly shorter). That’s more than enough time to feel the thrill, improve your skills, and fall in love with track driving.
  2. Professional track photography – on us! 📸
Yep, your on-track action will be captured by pro photographers. Bragging rights guaranteed ;)
  3. A Tesla-powered community vibe
Expect the good vibes to be there... people from all over the world come to experience this event and the conversations? Always fun and energetic.
  4. Guidance that keeps you safe & fast
Kick off the day with a driver’s MANDATORY meeting that covers safety and track rules. New to this? No problem—first-timers can get an instructor (via purchase) to guide you every step of the way.
  5. Chill zone with snacks and drinks
Take a break, recharge, and hang out with fellow attendees in our TeslaCorsa-only chill area.

GETTING THERE

Buttonwillow Raceway Park is approximately 2 hours from Los Angeles. Many drivers are able to make the drive on a single charge. If you're driving up the day of the event, we recommend leaving around 5 AM to arrive by 7 AM. If you'd prefer to come the night before, there are hotels nearby — Motel 6 is about a 10-minute drive from the raceway.

ARRIVE EARLY — CHARGE YOUR TESLA ON SITE

We strongly recommend arriving 45 minutes to 1 hour before your session start time. Buttonwillow Raceway Park has Tesla Superchargers right on the property with plenty of stalls available. Getting there early gives you time to top off your charge, get settled, and soak in the atmosphere before hitting the track.

WHAT GROUP ARE YOU?

Beginner: You have never set foot on a racetrack before — ever. This group is for first-timers who want a guided, supportive introduction to track driving.

Intermediate: You have prior HPDE (High Performance Driving Event) experience or have driven on a racetrack before. Even if it was just once, you belong in Intermediate, not Beginner. Please register accordingly.

Advanced: Experienced track drivers who are comfortable pushing their car at speed.

Beginners and Intermediates will drive together in the same sessions, with a shared focus on learning and building confidence.

MANDATORY DRIVERS MEETING — ALL GROUPS

At approximately 8:20 AM, there is a mandatory drivers meeting for all participants. This covers track flag meanings, passing rules, track etiquette, and everything you need to know before your first session. Don't skip it — it sets the tone for a safe and fun day.

NERVOUS? YOU SHOULDN'T BE.

TeslaCorsa has an entire team dedicated to making sure you have the best experience possible. We're here to help you learn your car — how to enter and exit corners, how much braking you can use, and ultimately how to get the most out of your Tesla in a controlled environment. You're not being timed. You're not competing. You're learning.

HOW PASSING WORKS (BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE)

In Beginner and Intermediate sessions, the only way another car can pass you is if you point them by. You are in full control of when and whether someone passes. This keeps the sessions calm, predictable, and safe for everyone on track.

FOOD ON SITE

You won't need to pack a cooler. There's a great grill right at the raceway where you can grab food throughout the day.

THE BEST PART

You drive your Tesla to the track, learn what it can really do, and then drive it back home. That's the magic of TeslaCorsa — no trailers, no race car, no separate vehicle. Just you, your car, and a community of people who love Teslas as much as you do.

Schedule - What does it look like?

The specific schedule of run groups will be sent out to attendees a 1-2 days before the event.

This is an all-day event beginning around 7:00-7:30 am and concluding roughly 5 pm - although you are welcome to leave early if desired. If you are late and miss the driver's meetings you may be barred from participation (driver's meeting usually start at 8:20am).

Please note:

A. The track management side of this event is managed by our friends at Speed Ventures, and you must abide by their rules and regulations on track.

B. True beginner drivers are provided with a driving instructor by default.

WILL MY CAR INSURANCE COVER ME ON TRACK?

Most car insurance will not cover you on track. While we generally believe this event is very safe for you and your vehicle, you participate at your own risk. Some have been curious if supplemental insurance can be purchased and where. For those interested, you can visit https://www.hagerty.com/insurance/track-day-insurance for more information.

We have no relation to them, but Speed Ventures trusts them as a provider. It is generally accepted that regular insurance rarely covers risks on the race track, so if you are looking for added coverage (with the assumption your insurance won’t cover you on track), you can reach out to them to inquire about prices.

For what it is worth, most people historically take the risk and drive safely within their limits, but this is really up to personal preference and risk tolerance.
