Tesia was only 30 years old when she was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer.
She was a a mother, a daughter, a wife, a teacher and a friend who built her life around faith, family, and serving others.
Tesia’s Tailgate was created to honor her legacy by bringing our community together to support young adults and families facing colorectal cancer. Young patients are often forced to navigate the demands of careers, young families, finances, and a life changing diagnosis all at once. Tesia’s Tailgate exists to provide meaningful support to those facing these challenges while carrying forward the love, faith, and compassion that defined Tesia’s life.
Join us on September 18, 2026, at Hilliard Darby High School as we celebrate Tesia’s life, create hope for families facing cancer, and make a lasting impact together. We can’t wait to see you there !
