From director Alexandre Aja (HIGH TENSION, THE HILLS HAVE EYES, CRAWL) comes this hilariously excessive and bloody remake of Joe Dante's cult classic PIRANHA. After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of prehistoric man-eating fish during spring break, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the the area's new razor-toothed residents. Making inspired use of 3D technology, it's contemporary genre cinema with tongue firmly planted in cheek... or yanked out and floating in the ocean.
