Join Appalachian Headwaters, Dr. Tom Saladyga to learn about the unique terrestrial habitat types in West Virginia!What is a forest, really, and how many different forest types are in our state? How do scientists age trees? Get these questions answered and more!
This counts as a Master Naturalist core class for anyone working towards certification.
This class is free and open to all experience and learning levels. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Dress for a short hike, which will include tree ID!
