Terraplane Lane (formerly known as the Speakeasies) is one of the area's premiere up-and-coming bands. Born from the South Shore blues improv scene, this 6-piece syndicate has developed into one of the most dynamic and reliable live acts on the greater Boston scene. They masterfully blur the lines between soul, funk, blues and rock, captivating audiences with their fresh take on choice covers and expertly crafted original compositions. They are duel-fronted by vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Jason Cardinal and vocalist/guitarist Benjamin Sangiolo, and backed by drummer Jeremy Sheehan, bassist Mike Machaby and the band's signature "Reed Section" of Stu Barer on harmonica and David Stringham on saxophone.
