Die US-Amerikanische Band Grateful Dead war eine Band der anderen Art: Pioniere des Psychedelic Rock, Kinder der Flower-Power-Revolution, Heimat einer Gemeinschaft treuer Deadheads und ebenso ein zeitloser Groove wie eine Feier des Lebens!
Zum ersten Mal wird die fantastische Grateful Dead Tribute Band Terrapin Flyer aus Chicago für zwei Konzerte (27./28. Februar) in Deutschland sein. Seit 25 Jahren tourt die Band mit rund 100 Shows im Jahr durch die USA, u.a. mit Legenden wie Melvin Seals von der Jerry Garcia Band. Im Februar geht es nun zum Kulturhaus Insel Berlin – einem charmanten Veranstaltungsort nur wenige Schritte vom Treptower Park in Ostberlin entfernt! Special Guests für beide Shows: Aaron Feder, Gründer der in Barcelona ansässigen Dead Tribute „Grateful Nights Band” (ebenfalls in Chicago geboren und aufgewachsen) und sein Kollege und Drummer Bryan Curtis!
